The tool

What Rotation Study Calendar does

Every rotation starts with the same plan: 20 UWorld questions a day, every day, until the shelf. Then q4 call happens, the plan dies by week two, and you cram the last ten days. The Rotation Study Calendar builds a plan that plans for that: it knows 12-hour clinical days and post-call exhaustion exist, and it paces around them instead of pretending they will not happen.

Tell it your rotation, start and end dates, shelf date, call schedule, and how many UWorld questions you have left. It does the math: daily question targets that vary with your predicted energy, Anki new-card pacing that will not bury you in reviews, NBME practice exams placed on realistic days, and phases that move from foundation to deep dive to final push.

It works for every core clerkship: Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Neurology, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. Starting fresh or already three weeks in with 400 questions left, the plan starts from where you actually are.

How it works

Three steps. No prompt engineering.

  1. Enter your rotation

Rotation, dates, shelf date, call schedule, days off, weak areas, and your UWorld and Anki status.

  2. Get the calendar

A week-by-week plan with daily topics, question targets, card counts, and NBME checkpoints, phased from foundation to final push.

  3. Adjust as life happens

Mid-rotation surprises? Regenerate from where you are and the pacing recalculates to your shelf date.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does it account for call and post-call days?

Yes. Call days get reduced loads like Anki only, and heavy call weeks are flagged and paced around. It never schedules a 40-question block for the day after 24 hours in the hospital.

How does UWorld pacing work?

You tell it how many questions you have left and your goal: finish everything, finish plus redo incorrects, or just as many as possible. It spreads the load across usable days and shows the math, like 240 questions at 10 to 35 per day, finishing four days before the shelf.

Which rotations does it support?

All eight core clerkships: Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Neurology, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.

What if I am already halfway through the rotation?

Tell it where you are and what is left. The plan builds forward from today, not from an idealized week one.
